This blog is dedicated to me, the artist Ben Barrett, and my work in metals, fibers, and computers (”high tech”).

Here you can find my latest rantings, as well as updates on art-relates events, the nw-arts.com website and my progress on it, and more. I hope to architect some arrangements whereby artists can sell their wares through this site, with very low commission — that commission could also be shared with ad-hoc “agents” to be chosen by the artists, who would assist in handling both virtual and physical aspects of sales.

More about me, in short: I grew up on a farm, moved out West, and make my pimary living doing computer-related work such as networks and databases for businesses. I have always been a dabbler and a hobbyist, and am now venturing into the world of the Artist (capital A!).
